Frequently Asked Questions...
1. Where do we ship tents? Ship your tents directly to:
Courageous Church
1330 West Peachtree Street
Suite 560
Atlanta, GA 30309
(404)461-9850

2. Who is overseeing and managing this project?
This project was started and is being directed by Shaun King (http://ShaunInTheCity.com), a young pastor & and experienced social networking activist. Shaun has lead many successful & award winning projects online such as http://500toys.org & http://hopeATL.com and is using the experience he gained from those efforts to shape this massive drive for tents.

A team of nearly 200 volunteers from Atlanta, GA and all around the world run the massive behind the scenes effort to gather, organize, ship, and distribute the tents.

3. How do we know this is not a fraud?
If you are skeptical about giving money, please send tents. While we guess it is not impossible to run a fraudulent tent business, our only desire is to get tents to Haiti. While we are proud of our track record with drives like http://500toys.org & http://hopeATL.com - we appreciate skepticism that people have.

We pledge that 100% of the funds we raise will go directly (and only) to tents. Furthermore, we are registered 501c3 (TaxID: 31-1839284) organization and are regularly monitored and audited by outside firms.

If none of this works for you, we encourage you simply volunteer your time with us or to find another organization you trust and give. We like http://ShelterBox.org

4. Who are the tents going to in Haiti and how do you know that they will get there?
Over 700,000 people still have no reliable shelter to give them privacy for life and protection from the harsh weather conditions in Haiti. We have established immediate partnerships with 3 orphanages and one very large camp (80,000+ people) to receive our first shipment of tents. When we send tents to these orphanages and to the Petionville camp, we have trusted, experienced partners that pick up our shipments directly and distribute them fairly & honestly.

We are always open to partnering with families, orphanages, and other organizations to distribute tents to make sure they get to those that need them the most.

5. Are tents what is really needed the most right now?
ABSOLUTELY! People on the ground are begging for tents and the Prime Minister of Haiti has made numerous public requests for 200,00 or more tents to be sent right away. Here are the most recent news articles showing the dire need for tents in Haiti. Heavy, periodic rains have already started in Haiti, but will become regular in just a few days. The hurricane season begins in May and these tents are urgently needed.
